Ecce Cor Meum 'Behold My Heart'

Paul McCartney has released his latest classical work 'Ecce Cor Meum' on EMI Classics. The Latin title translates as 'Behold My Heart.'

This is his fourth classical album since 1991, when he released 'The Liverpool Oratorio.' McCartney has spent eight years perfecting the hour long classical composition, as a tribute to his late wife Linda.

Originally commissioned in 1998, the Oratorio was written for the Magdalen College Choir, Oxford, to commemorate their 550th anniversary.

The World Premiere Performance will be at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday November 3rd. It will be performed by the same artists who appear on the studio recording; soprano Kate Royal, Academy of St. Martins In The Fields Orchestra, London Voices, Boys of Magdalen College Choir, Oxford and Boys of King's College Choir, Cambridge.

A special limited edition collector's book version is also available.

This is a sharp contrast to the current bickering between McCartney and his estranged wife Heather. Their break-up has been a high-profile subject for the British media.
