Go with Vertical Horizon

A co-worker recently introduced me to a new band...Vertical Horizon.

After hearing their live album 'Live Stages,' I just had to blog about them. That's the magic of music...sharing with friends.

"I'm Still Here" is the first single off their latest album 'Go'

Here's what he had to say about them...
Yeah that'’s probably my favorite live album. Their sound guy did a really good job capturing the different instruments. Truth is, it's one of the only albums I'’ve ever bought that I could play from beginning to end and not want to skip a song. But what I really like, is that at the end of Track 12, it ties into Track 1 if you pay attention. I love well written albums that have closure like that.
His favorites off 'Live Stages:'

Track 1 - The man who would be Santa
Track 3 -– Falling Down
Track 6 -– It's only me
Track 7 -– Candy Man
Track 8 -– Fragments
Track 10 -– Heart in Hand
Track 11 -– Wash Away
Track 12 -– Great Divide

Thanks, Mark! Guitarist Matt Scannell has also announced that the band has recorded three new songs with Neil Peart; one a collaboration between Matt and Neil. It's that thrill of discovery that keeps us young, vibrant and alive.
