We really appreciate your comments and feedback. We're only human and make mistakes sometimes, so here's a correction to our post for Christmas '66.The Beatles' Rubber Soul album was released in 1965. It was Revolver that was released in 1966. Source: beatles.com.
So we'd have to add the following hit songs to the '66 Hit Parade. "Taxman, Eleanor Rigby" and "Good Day Sunshine." Our post was about Christmas in 1966, so it follows that these songs would be all over radio and Billboard charts by then.
What a glaring error on my part. Don't know what I was thinking, but we strive for accuracy here. Thanks Charlie for calling me on it.
