Tom Snyder's Electric Kool-Aid Talk Show

This DVD should be interesting viewing, not only because of the great guest lineup on the show, but because Tom Snyder had such a loose vibe in his studio when doing interviews. It seems like his guests would open up alot more on his show, kinda like Dick Cavett's interviews with John Lennon and Ray Charles, among other celebrities.
This two-DVD set just came out a couple of weeks ago, so it should be available just about everywhere by now. It's titled Tom Snyder's Electric Kool-Aid Talk Show. Well, that's not really how I remember the show, but I do recall The Tomorrow Show was one of the few late night shows I did watch, other than the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. That's also available on DVD now, but you'll have to browse over to CybersDVDs.com to check it out.
So anyway, back on topic here...This Tomorrow Show DVD features some cool guest interviews like The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzman, who also perform "On the Road Again, Cassidy, Dire Wolf and Deep Elem Blues."
There's also a interview with Dr. Timothy Leary, which just happened to be a rare television appearance for him. This DVD package sounds like more of a time capsule than anything else. Great stuff for us baby boomers!
