Here's an interesting mix of musical styles. I discovered this band Under the Influence of Giants while browsing recent new releases. Their self-titled release just came out on Island Records; a label well known for extremely diverse artists.UTIOG has got rhythm ala Inxs, vocals ala Hall & Oates, harmonies like the Bee Gees, and the complex production of 10cc and Sweet. Throw in a pinch of Genesis at Muscle Shoals for really tight horns. This a definitely an album for the headphones. Under the Influence of Giants will make you want to dance your ass off.
