We've written about lala.com before, but that was before I received my first CD, Led Zeppelin's second album. About two weeks after registering at lala.com, I got this CD in the mail. And I didn't even have any of my CD's listed yet or paid a penny for anything!

Now I'm all jazzed about this online CD trading website. So I've listed just ten CD's I'm willing to ship to other members, and two of them came up as "ship." That means some other members of lala.com have those CD's on their "want list." So I agreed to ship them, and lala.com sends me free CD mailers, plus a round plastic cover for the disc itself. You just ship the CD and the artwork, and keep the jewel case (saves on shipping.)

You pay 1.49 for each CD you get. The more you ship, the more your rating goes up. And the more you list, the more likely you will get the CD's you're looking for (on your want list.)

Pretty cool concept. Now I'm just waiting for my free mailers so I can ship my CD's out.
Then maybe I can collect those CD's I've been wanting for years, but so hard to find at the local shops.
