Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Extravaganza Tour

I just saw Brian Setzer and his Orchestra rockin' up "Jingle Bells" on the morning show this past weekend, and if this one song is any indication, then it's little wonder why their 5th Annual Christmas Extravaganza Tour is selling out date after date.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra (BSO) is a 17-piece orchestra that can really heat up the house and drive a great big sound. With Brian on his big Gretsch guitar, stand up bass, drums, 2 female vocalists, 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets and 4 trombones, these are some cool rockin' daddies!

And get this, Gretsch Heads...Brian Setzer has his own line of signature guitars, which are traveling along for the ride this year. Yep, Gretsch Guitars has a big display at every show on this tour, so you can see and play the entire Brian Setzer model Gretsch guitar line.

Cary at Electric Guitar Review is hip and has a nice little write up about it too.

I remember the BSO big band tour swinging through Dallas years ago during the late 90's and it was big, it was happening, and it was really rocking! Man, I can't think of anything cooler than swinging with these cats during their Christmas tour, so check 'em out. And if you can't catch their live show, then dig into one of these cool Christmas albums...
