John Fogerty The Long Road Home

For John Fogerty, The Long Road Home to Fantasy Records was a triumphant return to his former record label. So what better way to celebrate than with a concert at L.A.'s Wiltern Theatre in September 2005.

Just this past summer, Fantasy released the live concert DVD, The Long Road Home – In Concert, featuring all 26 songs recorded at that very special show, which covered Fogerty's entire career, from Creedence Clearwater Revival to his solo albums like Blue Moon Swamp, Premonition and Centerfield.

Now Fantasy Records has just released the companion double CD, The Long Road Home – In Concert. John Fogerty's first live recording for the label; the 2 CDs feature all 26 songs performed in concert at L.A.'s Wiltern Theatre.

My favorite CCR album is probably Cosmo's Factory. I probably wore the grooves off my old LP listening to "Travelin' Band, Lookin' Out My Back Door, Run Through The Jungle, Up Around The Bend, Who'll Stop The Rain, I Heard It Through The Grapevine and Long As I Can See The Light." Those songs still sound great; the Cosmo's Factory album came out in 1970!

"Cosmos Factory" was the second album in my collection and like you I wore the grooves off of it... although it still plays great. Keep up the great blog!
