Flotsam & Jetsom

Nope, I'm not talking about Flotsam and Jetsam, the thrash metal band that Jason Newsted left to join Metallica for.

Today's blog is more along the lines of random thoughts and stream-of-consciousness writing. Yeah, I'm feeling fragmented this week, so when this article about speed linking came to my attention, it just jelled.

ElectricGuitarReview has a fine example of speed linking; think of it as 'thrash-metal' for bloggers.

R.E.M. will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 16th. Original drummer Bill Berry will be performing three songs with the band to celebrate.

TheRockRadio.com has a story about Mick using a telepromter during a recent concert...and the Stones roll into the US leg of their tour on September 20th. That's funny...used to be; the only 'Tele' on the stage belonged to the guitar player!
