It's been applied many ways, but today's blog takes on the meaning..."it takes a village" (read as community) of like-minded music freaks (read as junkies) to keep each other up on all the many new releases, box sets, re-issues, re-masters, concerts, anniversaries, music festivals, and generally cool stuff that's happening in the music world today.
That's why it's so cool to find another website that follows in our line of thinking, musical tastes, interests, etc...well, you get the idea.

Byrds in a box:
a four CD / one DVD boxed set due out September 26. Half the tracks will feature the original line-up – McGuinn, Crosby, Hillman, Clark and Clarke. The rest will feature later versions of the band, which included Gram Parsons and Clarence White. Five of the tracks are unreleased. The DVD has ten tracks of television performances between 1965 and 1967.
