Duane Roland has passed away at the age of 53 according to the Molly Hatchet MySpace site, Duane was a founding member and guitarist. Molly Hatchet was always a fan favorite at least in the southern portion of the United States.Duane played with Molly Hatchet from 1976 to 1991 and is the second original member of Molly Hatchet to pass away at the age of 53. Danny Joe Brown died last year from complications from pneumonia.
Flirtin' with Disaster was their breakout 2nd album released in 1979 and reached 19 on the Billboard charts.
