RCA signs Sandi Thom

This is what technology is all about. From a basement a musician can perform and build a following that numbers in the thousands. Sandi Thom's first webcast reached 70 people and went has high as 70,000. That is just incredible. How many musicians have burned themselves out over the years trying to reach a solid following. And make no mistake, Sandi did grind it out just like all musicians, however, she also found a way to reach the masses using the internet.

As more musicians get together with (or become) technicians (geeks) we should see an increase in this type of activity. This should not, and will not be an exception; but the rule in the future.
