Collector's Choice Music goes Elektra

Last December, I blogged about the Elektra Records label releasing some of their precious
archive material. Well, now these lil' gems are finally available on CD!

Elektra's label founder, Jac Holzman, has teamed up with Collector's Choice Music again to release yet another round of rarities.

These are both classic albums and long lost recordings by Phil Ochs, The Wackers, Joshua Rifkin, Oscar Brand, Sailcat, Mark Spoelstra, Susan Reed, Cyrus Faryar and many many others.

All these highly collectible CD's feature original artwork and new liner notes from Jac Holzman himself. Holzman has chronicled his life with Elektra Records in the book "Follow the Music: The Life and High Times of Elektra Records in the Great Years of American Pop Culture."

Collector's Choice has an amazing catalog of classic rock. I found Long John Baldry's "It Ain't Easy" there after searching for that album for years!
