Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2006 Nominations

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame has announced their 2006 nominations. Their annual induction ceremony will take place in New York City in the Spring of 2006. VH-1 will probably air it again this year. Let's take a look at who's coming in next spring...

Miles Davis - A true jazz legend who deserves the honors.

Black Sabbath - One of my first heavy metal influences. I wore the grooves off my Paranoid LP.

Sex Pistols - Yeah I guess so. So whot?!?

Blondie - Huh? Ex-squeeze me?

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Yeah dude. A big southern-fried rock and roll moment for me when I first heard "Freebird." Drivin up the side of a snow covered mountain in Utah after midnight, with the speakers blastin' and those dual guitars wailin'!

Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, who founded A&M records in 1962, will receive a lifetime-achievement award in the non-performer category.

In 2005, artists inducted included Buddy Guy, The O'Jays, The Pretenders, Percy Sledge, and U2.
